Ben R."Dr. Gubello is a very compassionate and skilled physical therapist. He is 100% dedicated to ensuring you are on track to your goals. All this and he is a great listener as well! He really takes the time to hear you out so that he has a clear understanding of what is going on and how to best move you forward. I highly recommend Dr. Gubello if you are in need of great physical therapy from an honest and caring professional!" |
Matthew K"The past few months I've hopped from doctor to doctor trying to resolve my lower back pain. I've seen orthopedists, massage therapists, acupuncturists, physical therapists, etc. Of all the doctors I saw, I had the most pain relief from Graig Gubello. In addition to just being a great physical therapist, he is responsive via e-mail which is greatly appreciated. I highly recommend."

"A hearty well done and kudos to my physical therapist, Dr. Graig Gubello. What he has done for me with regards to my knees and lower back ailments in a few short weeks of PT goes without saying. He displayed superb innate knowledge of my condition and knew exactly what I needed. In the few weeks of PT my nagging lower back pains are only a memory and my range of motion of my knees increased by 30% in my really bad knee (torn ACL) and 15% in my other no so bad knee. I can even touch my toes and do squats which I haven't been able to do for the longest time, all with little effort or pain. My golf game has even improved and I can turn better on the ball. He has the perfect demeanor to relate with clients in his profession and is a skilled and knowledgeable physical therapist. A great company ambassador. I was very confident in his expertise throughout. Great job, Doc! Thanks a bunch and appreciate all you've done. "
Jennifer H."Right away Dr. Gubello stood out from the rest with his dedication to finding the root of the problem, and eagerness to hone in and heal that area, not wasting time. He asks all the right questions, in a way that is easy to understand, and has the ability to explain things clearly while not using jargon. Added bonus... he has a great, professional manner AND a sense of humor. A year later, and in need of some preventative maintenance for my neck and shoulder, I didn't even have to think twice about finding Dr. Gubello." |
Matt N."I had minor injuries over the years whether is was a bruised knee or various joint pains. Each time, I would seek the professional guidance and therapy of Gubello Physical Therapy. I immediately saw the benefit both short and long term for their work. The PT has helped me stay healthy and safe with my highly active lifestyle. I would recommend GPT to anyone in need of rehabilitation or just looking to help proactively protect themselves from injury."

"The 5 stars goes out to my man Graig Gubello! I'm a very picky person, and Graig makes my list of people I trust with my body. Why you ask? Well let me tell you. In talking to Graig, his dedication and passion for helping others is second to none! He takes the time to understand why we are there doing physical therapy and understands how important it is to get people out of pain and back to living the life we want to live. In short, no cookie cutter physical therapy from him!
I asked him once why he spends so much time and money on continuing education classes. He said something that every client/patient should hear from their health care provider. I'll paraphrase but this is the gist of it 'I spend my free time continually learning because I would feel horrible if my clients/patients didn't get the best treatment possible. I want my clients/patients to feel confident in the treatment plan we have going forward and to represent my profession in a way that I and the person I am helping can feel good about'.
If you have had a bad experience with your physical therapy provider, please don't generalize the profession as all the same. There are plenty of great physical therapist out there. I'm glad to know Graig and he inspires me actually to keep on learning also. Thanks for all you do."

"I'd like to thank Graig Gubello for many things. Most importantly, after 6 sessions I regained a lot of my strength, balance and confidence after a mini stroke I had. In addition, Graig's professionalism, encouragement, support and friendliness contributed to my well-being. After the first session with Graig I knew I had chosen the right place, thanks to Graig."
Luis O."Without a doubt the best physical therapist in San Diego. He helped relieve all my back, hip and leg pain. Everything that was preventing me from doing my daily chores. Thank you so much, for everything Graig!" |
Suzie K."Graig Gubello is professional and compassionate. My back has improved quite a bit and I improve with each visit!"

"After having experienced a very inconvenient, painful, and disabling injury to the MCL of my right knee while hiking, I engaged Graig for solutions to recovery that had not been mapped out by the physicians who had initially treated me. After having an MRI taken of my knee, I followed a very general set of exercises that my acute care doctor had initially given me to little avail. Since beginning the physical therapy regimen that Graig provided me, I have regained movement, strength, and flexibility with my knee. I no longer struggle to negotiate the three flights of stairs up to my family’s apartment, have gently resumed jogging, and am fully confident I am fast approaching a full return to my two fitness passions of distance hiking and Crossfit.
I pride myself on being a self-starter, however, I could not have recovered without Graig’s meticulous and science-forward approach. My initial consult with Graig was rich with information on my problem, coupled with a sharp timeline of expectations regarding my goals and objectives. What comforted me most about my first two sessions with Graig was his ability to quickly interpret the results of my MRI and apply exacting knowledge of my type of knee injury and what treatments were required. Moreover, Graig’s ability to make my first foray into telemedicine a comfortable and engaging experience was maybe the most impressive aspect of our appointments. I only wish I had approached Graig earlier rather than sitting alone with inadequate recovery advice from an acute care physician - who definitely meant very well - that amounted to me taking a very slow and inactive wait-and-see approach to healing and recovery.
Graig’s excellent bedside manner is one of his strongest qualities and that may have been the most pleasant part of treatment. It is simply amazing how at ease I felt after one consultation with Graig and a few days work within the program he designed. I suddenly felt all the possibilities of recovery rather than the depressing passivity of waiting with uncertainty. Graig’s practice provided some of the finest health care I have ever received and I recommend his physical therapy practice without reservation."
